Tests Included: Complete Blood Count Comprehensive Metabolic Panel Lipid Panel Hemoglobin A1C T3 Total T4 Total TSH Estradiol HCG Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) Testosterone Progesterone Luteinizing Hormone (LH) Test Description: Complete Blood Count (CBC): CBC tests are used to look at overall health and find a wide range of conditions which include anemia, infections, and leukemia. Cell counts that are out of range can be indicative of an underlying condition. Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP): A comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) is a blood sample test that measures 14 different substances in your blood. It provides important information about your body's chemical balance and metabolism. Lipid Panel: This test looks at overall cholesterol levels and triglycerides. Lipids are various forms of fat in the body and include cholesterol types. Lipids are a type of fat and fat-like substances found in cells and are used as a source of energy like glucose. Hemoglobin A1C: The A1C test is a common blood test used to diagnose type 1 and type 2 diabetes. If you're living with diabetes, the test is also used to monitor how well you're managing blood sugar levels. T3, Free & Total: Triiodothyronine (T3) is one of two major hormones produced by the thyroid, a small butterfly shaped gland located near the throat. These hormones play an important role in controlling weight, body temperature, muscle strength, and nervous system. Your thyroid makes hormones that regulate weight, body temperature, muscle strength and mood. TSH levels that are too high or low may be a sign of hyperthyroidism. Estradiol: Estradiol E2 is the form of estrogen produced mainly by the ovaries. E2 plays plays a pivotal role in the development of female reproductive systems i.e. uterus, fallopian tubes, vagina, and breasts. HCG: This blood test checks if there is a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin in your blood. HCG is a hormone produced in the body during pregnancy. Follicle Stimulating Hormone: The pituitary gland produces FSH. In women FSH helps manage the menstrual cycle and stimulates the ovaries to produce eggs.
